Arthur E. Palama, 78, of Hawi, died Feb. 13, 2020. Born Feb. 26, 1941 on Kauai, he was a general contractor for Palama Contracting and member of the Royal Order of Kamehameha in Kauai.

He is survived by wife, Lena Palama of Waimea; son Roger (Taira Kajiwara) Palama of Kauai; daughter Alice Nanai (Randall) Soares of Kauai; brothers David (Moana) Palama of Kauai, Stephen (Kathy) Palama of Kauai; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert Bell
Robert Akuna Victor Bell, 88, of Waimea, died Feb. 20, 2020, at Hale Hoola Hamakua. Born in Waimea, he was a retired electrician technician at Pohakuloa Training Area, former pastor at the former Maili Assembly of God Church on Oahu and member of the Imiola Congregational Church.
Friends may call 9-11 a.m. Feb. 29 at Imiola Congregational Church in Waimea for an 11 a.m. celebration of life. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Casual attire.

Earl Yoneoka
Earl Manabu Yoneoka, 90, of Hilo, died Feb. 8, 2020, at home. Born May 11, 1929, in Kaumana, he was a retired mechanic/parts clerk for Orchid Isle Auto Center, member of Soka Gakkai International and Sunrise Ridge Assn, and a Korean War veteran.

Tami Regina Loke Souza, 40, died Feb. 10, 2020 at Hilo Medical Center. Born April 13, 1979 in Honolulu, she was a cashier at Malama Market in Pahoa.
